Are you a Project Manager with a proven background of working on large civil engineering projects within the rail industry? Are you looking for an opportunity to work on and deliver a major civil engineering project in the South of Wales?

My client is a market-leading multi-disciplinary contractor and due to recent successes, they are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to lead a civil engineering project on a 3-year contract. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved on a major infrastructure project.

Contract Length: 3 years + 
Salary: £400 - £550 per day 
Location: South Wales 

Daily duties: 

• ·Leading and delivering the entire project lifecycle of a new build station in South of Wales.
• ·Successful delivery of the contract within budget and programme.  
• ·Overseeing onsite activities including sub-contractors and direct labour.  
• ·Regular liaison with the client and stakeholders, keeping everyone updated on progress and aware of issues.  
• ·Ensuring that changes to the contract are identified, agreed and effectively managed
• ·Work closely with the commercial team and senior management. 
• ·Ensure all relevant legislations and contracts are continuously adhered too.  

Requirements: 

• ·Qualification in Chartered Civil Engineering or an experienced Chartered Engineer.
• ·Experience working as a Project Manager on building stations, station improvements/enhancements on the Network Rail infrastructure.
• ·Background in working on major projects.
• ·Valid PTS / SMSTS 
• ·Valid First Aid  
• ·Live within a commutable distance of South Wales
