Looking for a long term Project Manager role in renewables? Experienced in Utilities / Power Projects?
 
My client are a large Power Infrastructure company, looking to increase their workforce within the renewables arm to their business. This is a long term contract opportunity to work for several years as a contractor. Working on Green energy, on a project that has had £66 million invested into the division of the company. You will be working on the future of the business and exploring new ways to maintain homes and businesses away from the standard grid. Working on several projects including Heat Pumps, Electric Vehicles, Battery Storage, Solar Power and Efficient Homes.
 
The role of a project manager is to manage these green energy projects within the HV engineering department. Working on projects situated across London & the South East of England.
 
 
You will need to be successful in pre and post contract management of all projects. Making sure they are completed on time, to budget and safely in order to exceed the customer expectations. To complete project management efficiently through the full life cycle of the project from initial enquiry through to post investment appraisal in line with the UK Power Networks Services governance and control process.
 
 
You will manage a number of Green Recovery projects and interface between various clients and the internal teams. Working with internal staff, our sub-contractors and suppliers. Ensuring the programme and its key milestones are achieved. Production of weekly/monthly reports, as required for review/meetings. Ensuring monthly applications are progressed and labour utilised efficiently, safely and works carried out to a high standard.
 
 
This role is based in North London and involves some office work, some site work and home work.
 
The day rate is £450 per day.
