Principal Planning Policy Officer
 
My client in the Buckinghamshire area has a need for an experienced Town Planner to join their Planning Policy Team. Initially this post will be for a minimum of 3 months but likely to be at least 6 months.
 
The council is at a critical point in the preparation of the Local Plan and are intending to go out to public consultation on the Spatial Strategy in November.  In order to help the Council complete their work on the Spatial Strategy we are looking for an experienced and adaptable planner with experience in plan making. The role can be very flexible depending upon what people can offer. It could range from report writing, to completing the Sustainability Appraisal or taking charge of the public consultation exercise.
 
Currently the team is working remotely and so there would be no need to travel to the offices but a prior knowledge of the town would be an advantage. We are able to be flexible on the pay rate depending upon knowledge and experience.
