My client is currently looking for a short-term (3 months initial contract) interim policy consultant to work on an Environment Supplementary Planning Document to support the council's response to the Climate Emergency and the implementation of their new City Plan. They are looking for someone with experience in planning policy and particularly in managing Members of the council, able to self-manage, take the initiative and work at a very quick pace. Ideally you will have strong knowledge of environmental issues but this is not necessary if you are able to fill the other criteria sufficiently.
 
 
On offer is an hourly rate of up to £42p/h depending on experience.
 
This role will move quickly and is unique opportunity to join a growing local authority.
