Role Details:
My client is looking for a Senior or Principal Ecologist to join their Environmental team with prior experience managing a team or Ecologists and being able to provide technical support to multiple teams.
 
Your main responsibility will be helping manage a team and overseeing site personal, report writing and providing legal and legislative advise across multiple teams, as well as drafting and reviewing permits for construction works you should hold relevant licenses and an understanding of environmental soils handling would be beneficial although not essential.
 
You will also require excellent IT and reporting skills this role requires technical knowledge with some site visits and the preference would be to be based out of the Lichfield office.
 
 
Essential:
·Prior experience undertaking a senior ecology position on large infrastructure projects, managing the technical.
·Prior experience engaging with government bodies and statutory undertakers on ecology projects.
·Previously managed a team.
 
Preferred:
·Background experience working on rail infrastructure client/consultancy-side.
