Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority planning team who consistently delivers a high level of service?
 
This newly created role is because of an increase in workload due to continued development in the local area. The local authority is looking to bring someone with relevant previous experience in that can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
You will be required to work both individually and as part of a team to continue the high level of service that the local authority operate to currently.
 
To be successful in this position you MUST HAVE:
·   A good level of computer literacy including using Word and Excel
·   Accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when working to tight deadlines
·   Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
·   Excellent communication and customer handling skills
·   Excellent organisational and time management skills
·   Ability to research and analyse Information
·   Ability to present information in easily understood formats
 
Role & Responsibilities:
·To assist with the administration of the CIL collection process including registering developments on the CIL collection system and issuing all associated administrative notices.
·To assist with the administration of the CIL appeals process including recording details of the appeal on the CIL collection system and issuing standard correspondence generated by the system.
·To liaise with the Council's finance, legal, land charges and other relevant teams to ensure the efficient administrative operation of the CIL and S.106 collection system.
·Update and maintain office records including technical documents, registers and financial statistical returns including the use of computer based systems, photocopying, etc.
·Provide administrative support to the Planning Obligations and CIL Support Officer including assisting with record keeping, the management of budgets relating to CIL and Section 106 agreements and the organization of meetings.
