Major Works Project Manager
£550p/d Umbrella Rate (Inside IR35)
3 Months Initially (with view for extension)

What will you do?
Responsible for the management of refurbishment, maintenance and carbon retrofit zero projects for the corporate estate portfolio and seeing through project delivery from inception to completion by reviewing programme delivery, cost plans, risk registers, contracts, and site monitoring to assure the delivery of building projects follow best practice construction management and adhere to all statutory legislative and council policy requirements.
Responsible for assisting the Head of Capital Projects in the delivery of the Council's Capital Planned Maintenance Programme, ensuring industry's best practice is adopted including scoping specifications, tendering works, evaluating bids and ensuring robust contract and monitoring processes are in place
 
What do you need?  
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:  
·UK Resident
·Experience of managing planned & capital works
·Must have experience working within a social housing environment for Housing Association or Local Authority for a consecutive 3 years+
·Experience of writing specifications for planned maintenance projects.
