What will you do?
Building Surveyor to work in the councils busy Repairs Service.
The candidate will be expected to have experience ordering repair works using NHF schedule of rates, have the ability to co-ordinate and supervise works in progress and demonstrate excellent communication to residents and customers, in order to achieve project success upon completion, whilst adhering to completion targets.
Experience in contractor management is a requirement and the ability to monitor and maintain performance levels and early escalation of issues.
 
What do you need?  
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:  
·UK Resident
·Technical surveying knowledge, an in depth understanding of building pathology, defect diagnosis, specification writing and contract management.
·Extensive experience in Local Authority specific building surveying
·A background that includes working within responsive repairs is essential.
