Site Agent required for 3 month contract overseeing a £1.5million scheme in the North Somerset area for a national highways contractor.
 
Working on this improvement scheme you will be tasked with providing an Engineering view as the Agent on this scheme. As Agent you will be tasked with updating programme of works, with an understanding of levels and drawing. Putting together the work schemes and packages whilst ensuring it's delivered on time and in line with designs.
 
Duties include:
 
-Oversee the Site Engineer's duties, have a good working knowledge of CAD including stringlines and highway works, be competent in use of total station & GPS
-Maintain as built programmes and methodology utilising existing knowledge & experience and through engagement with Key Supply Chain.  
-Liaise with all 3rd parties & utility companies as required to deliver schemes
-Ensure Construction Phase Plans, method statements and safe systems of work are in-place before work is started and that required safety standards are maintained at all times.
-Liaise with commercial team and designers to manage changes identified on site through technical query process.
-Engage with the commercial team and capture costs and report change through early warnings.
-Keep   accurate   records   including site diary, records   of   works   activities,   resource allocations   and   as-built information.
 
You will hold experience as an Agent on other Highways schemes, and an Engineering background within Highways.
