Job Description: Technology Supervisor
Primary Role: The Technology Supervisor is responsible for closely collaborating with the Technology & Electrical Team Leader and our performance team to ensure the efficient handling of faults and addressing underlying root causes. This role aims to minimize repetitive visits by leading a team of technology engineers during shifts, overseeing their deployment to uphold service standards, and prioritizing the welfare and safety of the team. The Technology Supervisor is also tasked with actively maintaining and enhancing their own skills and knowledge to meet evolving requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
·Collaborate closely with the Technology & Electrical Team Leader and performance team to address faults efficiently and tackle root causes.
·Lead a team of technology engineers during shifts, ensuring deployment aligns with service standards.
·Prioritize the welfare and safety of the team, maintaining a safe working environment.
·Continuously update and enhance personal skills and knowledge to meet evolving requirements.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have:
·Prior experience as a highways technology engineer.
·Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, manage, and develop on-site engineering teams effectively.
·Familiarity with National Highways technology systems and their components, including display equipment, CCTV, digital storage devices, and motorway communications.
