My client are part of a national business within infrastructure engineering. They work across the South West with companies such as the Western Gas Appliance, Wales and West and Welsh Water. They supply fleet support to their sister companies but also act as a fleet hire company to other Utilities companies in the area. Their Pontypridd office is one of their large depots, supporting fleet services and hire across the South West. it is a central hub for their South West operations and a fresh environment with lots of exciting projects.
 
The role on offer is to work on the fleet hire side of the business. You will work as a controller, taking incoming requests from clients for fleet and plant hire. You will then source and prepare delivery of plant and fleet for companies across Wales and the South West. You will need to have experience in the plant hire industry and have an understanding of how the industry works. You will be given a great opportunity to work in an excellent team with great support. The role is based in Pontypridd and you need to be able to get to the office. The hours are 45 hours per week. The requirements include:
·Experience in plant hire
·Experience in raising Purchase Orders
·Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers - including incoming phone calls
·Ability to work on projects alone but to work with a team
·Good IT skills and MS Office experience
·Ability to adapt to changing requirements from customers
