I am representing a client that is working for one of the most exciting and progressive projects in the UK Nuclear sector and recently has had a position open up for a Control Systems Engineer (EC&I) to join the team. Working within advanced automation & advanced IT solutions.
Job Role - Control Systems Engineer (EC&I)
Location - Staffordshire / Cumbria
Salary - Depending on experience
This role will be very suited for someone who is coming from a previous nuclear site and someone who has vast knowledge and experience with PLC's. Most favourably Rockwell.
 
As the Control Systems Engineer, you will look at modifications of existing control systems for project work and support contracts. Working on PLC's, ideally Rockwell, however Wonderware InTouch would be considered as SCADA is a part of both. Additionally Siemens systems could be used. The role is spread between the Cumbria main location and requirements to attend an office in Staffordshire.
 
·Involvement throughout whole software/systems lifecycle - Design, testing, Coding, installation, configuration & documentation.
·Configuration, Testing & Installation work at customer sites
·PLC configuration and programming of control systems from developed designs (SCADA)

What is required as an Essential
·Computer / Engineering degree or HND
·Previous experience
·Good customer service for customer facing work
·Willingness to travel
·Full UK Driving License
·Ability to obtain security clearance
