Are you an Assistant Project Manager working in the railway sector? Do you have experience working on minor civils projects?
 
My client is a well-established, multi-discipline contractor within the rail industry and have a fantastic work bank including works on HS2 and CP6. They are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join them on a contract basis and work on a multi-million-pound project.
 
Day Rate: £300 - £380 per shift
Contract Length: 6 Month rolling contract
Location: Bedford
 
Requirements of Assistant Project Manager:
·SMSTS
·CSCS
·Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering
·5+ years of civils experience, preferably on minor works
·Competent using Microsoft Office
·Experience using Asite is highly desired
 
Daily Duties:
·Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered on time and to budget
·Ensuring the project is maintaining network rail standards throughout
·Preparing method statements, risk assessments and reports for the whole package
·Assisting in managing construction activities and subcontractor labour
·Detailed knowledge of safety regulations (particularly CDM)
·Commercial and financial understanding and knowledge
