Role: Civils Ganger
Location: Sussex
Salary: £14 - £18 per hour depending on experience + extra payments for standby/optional overtime

Do you have experience working on sites digging and repairing sewer pipes, replacing manholes and carrying out reinstatement and deep excavations?
 
I am pleased to offer an exciting new opportunity with my client, a large contractor working with Southern Water, who has an excellent reputation for delivering work in a timely and professional manner.
 
Your role will involve working on civils projects and carrying out duties such as digging and repairing sewer pipes, replacing manholes and concreting on sewer networks across Sussex.
 
You will most likely work in a gang of 2 (gangers will work on sites with other gangers who live close by so the company van will be shared and you will make your way to site from home).
 
Your working hours will be 7.30am - 5pm Monday - Friday, you will be required to be on standby for 1 in 5 days and optional overtime is available. Standby, overtime, weekends and bank holiday working will be paid at an increased rate.
