Role: Utilities Consents Manager
Location: London (NW)
Salary: up to £40,000 p/a plus package
 
My client, who are a leading UK surveying company, is looking for a Utilities Consents Manager to be based in North West London. You will be responsible for Consents and Approvals. This is a full-time role, ideally on site, but flexible working arrangements including working from home form some days may be negotiated.
Key responsibilities:
 
The circa £1bn project will include the delivery of six underground platforms as well as up to eight platforms in London.
 
·Undertake, on conjunction with the relevant participants in the OOC Integrated Project Team (IPT), Consents preparation and submission in relation to Utilities to ensure consistent quality outcomes.
·Liaise with all Statutory Authorities to understand Consents requirements in detail and ensure efficient delivery of documentation by the project team and supply chain in support of approvals.
·Develop strong stakeholder relationships with all Statutory Utilities.
·Ability to undertake multiple roles to cover for staff absences is an added benefit.
·Work collaboratively with other parts of the Consents team and the IPT to deliver outcomes efficiently.
·Provide support and training to the Supply Chain Consents personnel to enable the Supply Chain to complete their Consents responsibilities.
·Oversee relevant Consents Reporting including 'Consents Register', 'Project Managers Update' and 'Power BI output' reporting.
·Ensure the forward programme of Consents is maintained and notify any resource and team capability deficiencies.
·Provide contract notices through the Contract Administration system CEMAR to ensure all necessary Early Warnings and General Communications are raised in good time and the necessary responses to the same are provided.
·Work in an integrated, collaborative manner with all parts of the project team at OOC, including supply chain, engage and be able to highlight issues proactively and assist in effective resolution of issues.
·Work in an integrated manner with all external Stakeholders to maintain good relations and encourage the early completion of Consents in accordance with the project programme requirements.
·Develop case studies and lessons learnt to influence across all levels and externally
 
Requirement:
 
·Experience of the Consents environment in engineering and construction with a professional background in one the relevant engineering sectors.
·Experience in collaborative working arrangements.
·Sound commercial and project management approach. Ability to influence and communicate to a variety of stakeholder and senior leadership team environments.
·This can be a fast-paced environment that changes quickly, so candidates need to be able to adapt to change and prioritising workloads.
·We want somebody who can multi-task, be adaptable and become a valuable member of our team.
·Clean & Full driving License

·Excellent communication skills, and able to work closely with all levels of stakeholders
