Role Summary
This is a chance to join a newly formed company, operating within the Transport Planning industry, taking a key role as Technical Officer with responsibility for assisting the Project Manager in running the core services of TRICS and maintaining its availability and function.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will have experience of assisting in the management of projects, problem solving, ability to analyse complex data outputs, work in a team environment and have good organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
·Dealing with customer enquiries relating to technical TRICS issues and membership issues.
·Input and Validation of survey data into the TRICS Database.
·Undertaking site visits to ensure that future surveys are undertaken to the high level required by TRICS. This results in staying away in regions of the United Kingdom for multiple days at a time.
·Pursuing permission from Site Operators for TRICS to undertake Transportation Surveys at their premises.
·Analysis of the TRICS Database for Bureau Service enquiries.
·Adhering to established QA systems
·Assisting with financial systems and controls.

Knowledge & Experience
·Full Driving Licence Essential
·Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
·Familiarly with the TRICS system and transport planning industry is an advantage
·Experience of QuickBooks Accounting Software is a distinct advantage, but training given where necessary.
Summary / Indicative Duties
To regularly:
·Deal with customer enquiries in a prompt and professional manner
·Follow Company Policy and Procedures, and suggest changes where necessary
·Input and Validate survey data into the TRICS Database
·Obtain multi-modal survey permissions
·Undertake, where appropriate, site visits for multi-modal surveys
·Operating and Maintaining TRICS user licences and enquiries
·Undertake TRICS Bureau Service calculations and enquiries
·Undertake Administration of bookings at TRICS User Events
·Undertake Administration of regular TRICS System releases
·The Invoicing and Handling of payments
·Provide Help Desk support to users via telephone and email requests.
To Support and Assist the Project Manager with:
·Analysis of Annual User Survey results.
·Suggestions for System developments and enhancements.
·Production of multi-modal survey specifications
·Regular account and debtor analysis
·Working on associated sub-projects as and when required
To Support and Assist the Managing Director to:
·Maintain and update TRICS accounting records.
·Report to the Directors and Shareholders.
·Develop and progress new products.
