What we need:
Our client, a busy local authority based in the south east are looking for an experienced and reliable Transport Planer to assist on a variety of development schemes starting in December 2020 until April 2021.
What you will do:
Within this role you will be involved in Transport assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans to accompany planning applications.
The role will also require a firm understanding of highway design, traffic modelling and developments.
You will also liaise with clients, project team members and local authorities
What you will need to succeed:
To be considered for this role you will have previous Transport Planning experience on Highways development schemes, preferably having worked within a local authority.
You will hold a degree in an appropriate subject (transport planning, civil engineering, geography).
You would be able to work well in a team, be self-motivated and enthusiastic as you will be dealing with clients and other professionals
You will have good communication skills.
You will be able to work remotely and have access to reliable internet connection.
What you will get in return:
Working for a fantatsic organsiation, you wil be paid beteween £30 and £35 per hour. This will be remote working from home. IR35 status to be assessed on appointment, your status will be individually assessed fairly.
