An opportunity has arisen for a Highways / Traffic Engineer with experience in AutoCAD Design and Project Management to join a client in London. You will be responsible for designing and delivering a range of highway and traffic schemes such as road safety, sustainable transport, traffic management and highway / public realm improvements across the area.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £28 - £30 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate.  Flexible working arrangements are available.
 
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:

- Designing and delivering a range of highways, sustainable transport and road safety projects
- Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard  
- Working on cycle superhighways / quietways and other sustainable transport schemes
- Managing "design and build" projects on highways, footways and carriageways
