Are you a technical assurance manager with experience of rail infrastructure projects?
Are you looking to get involved with Europe s largest infrastructure project HS2?
This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with HS2 and help shape and implement their technical assurance policy. This is a diverse role which will see you get involved with the whole HS2 program including Phase 1, Phase 2a, Phase 2b and system wide.
The work will focus predominately on civil works and environmental mitigation but will also develop into route systems and rolling stock.
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £40,750 - £61,100 12% pension, private medical care
Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent application of technical assurance processes by the supply chain and HS2 across one or more sets of delivery contracts.
·To own and present data-based reporting on IPT adherence to technical assurance; through the provision of analysis and control metrics such that the
Knowledge:
·Knowledge of problem solving and integration using systems engineering thinking within the infrastructural sector.
·Knowledge with the principles of change and configuration management.
·Understanding of the roles and responsibilities under CDM Regulations 2015, and have knowledge of the European Common Safety Methods guidance
·Knowledge of working within an NEC3 contract environment
·Knowledge of the principles of quality management e.g. ISO 9001
Requirements:
·Experience of managing and implementing quality and assurance principles, systems and frameworks on large scale infrastructure projects.
·Experience within a technical background with the experience of liaising with contractors and designers.
·Experience of multi-discipline programmes incl. civils, M&E, architecture, rail systems, rolling stock.
