Freelance Sub Agent Needed!
 
Sub Agent - Highways Scheme
Location: Cambridge
Rate: £400-450 Ltd company available
Duration: 6 months
 
Are you a skilled and proactive Sub Agent looking for a contract opportunity outside IR35?
 
We're looking for a Sub agent to support some highways works in Cambridge. If you have strong infrastructure and earthworks experience, we want to hear from you!
 
Essential:
·Management/Supervisor experience on civil engineering projects (structures/bridges preferred)
·Understanding of temporary works
·Experience managing daily site activities, sequencing, and short-term programming
·Good knowledge of quality management - inspections, ITPs, NCRs, and handover documentation
·Ability to oversee and coordinate subcontractors
·Good experience with quality assurance
·Confident with method statements, risk assessments, and permits
·Experience monitoring progress and productivity
·Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards
·Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
·Strong communication skills for liaising with the Agent, engineers, client, and supply chain
·Proactive approach to problem solving and resolving site issues
 
Rate is dependent on experience.
