About the company
The company are an established structural design consultancy working within a wide variety of building sectors across the UK market. Supported by other offices throughout the UK, they are looking to continue the growth and development of their London office.

 
Role & Responsibilities
With an existing client base and pipeline of projects, the role will not only entail managing current projects and continuing to grow their existing team, you will also be tasked developing the London office offering and have an active involvement in business development, identifying new clients and opportunities.
 
The scope of projects covers a variety of new build and refurbishment schemes across a range of building sectors that includes:
 
Commercial
Educational
Industrial
Healthcare
Residential
Retail
Multi-storey buildings
 
Requirements:
BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering
IStructE Chartered
Min 15 years' experience
Experience of managing a design team
Ability to train and mentor more junior members of the team
Experience of whole project process from fee proposals and concept design to project completion
Strong technical ability with in depth experience of design in all main materials
Client facing
Excellent commercial awareness and business acumen
