Carrington West are looking for a Highways Site Manager to work in Coventry for a six-month contract, working day shifts, Monday to Friday.
 
We are looking for somebody who comes from an Engineering background, as well as having experience managing gangs and running their own jobs.
 
What you will do:

As Site Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:
·Day to day management of the site including the supervision and monitoring of a site team  
·Conducting regular H&S checks and Audits
·Ensuring RAMS, inductions, toolbox talks etc are all being carried out correctly
·Plan, control and monitor the progress of the works
·Resolve any technical issues that may arise
·Deliver end product to customer satisfaction.
·Manage project risk in line with company procedures.
·Setting out when required
· 
What you will need to succeed:
To be the successful candidate you must possess previous experience as a Site Manager/ Site Agent on a Highways or Civils construction.
SMSTS and CSCS GOLD will be essential to get on site, a certificate in Temporary Works Coordination will be extremely advantageous.
