My client is market leading civils contractor with a fantastic reputation within the railway industry. Due to continued growth and success with multiple tenders, they are looking for a driven Site Agent to work with them on a variety of civils projects between Birmingham through to Bedford Derby area.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a fast-paced team with fantastic promotion and progression opportunities on a full-time permanent basis.
 
Location: Midlands
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 P/A

Responsibilities:

• Provide site-base support and engineering supervision to works.
• Work closely with on site Project Team and communicate any issues back to the Construction Manager.
• Plan logistics and order materials.
• Produce task briefings, WPP's and carry out risk assessments.
• Set up storage for concrete slabs and machinery.
• Coordinate and arrange on site amenities including water supplies.
• Manage and maintain quality assurance records for works in line with ITPs'

Requirements:

• Valid PTS and SMSTS or SSSTS
• 3+ years' experience working as a Site Engineer/Sub Agent
• Proven background of working on civils associated projects ideally within the rail industry.
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of Network Rail standards.
