Would you like to work for a large Rail engineering company who are involved in national projects in long-term contract work?
My client is a national Design and Build Company with a large amount of Signalling work on from frameworks and are consequently looking for multiple Signalling Design Engineers of all levels.
You will be able to carry out design and design production checks on all aspects of Signalling systems, developing through the range of standard trackside equipment to more complex conceptual design work.
Hourly Rate: £50-£70ph dependent on experience and level,
IR35: Current contractors with my client are outside IR35, and assessments will be done for new contractors coming in.
Contract length: 6 months with potential for extension.
Levels my client is looking for, including but not limited to:
- Principal Designers
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Hold a IRSE Design License - 1.1.510
- Experience in Railway Signalling practices and principles
- Membership of IRSE or other relevant Engineering Institution
- Proven experience with Micro-station, PLANS software
