About the Opportunity:
A highly respected and long-established planning consultancy is seeking a talented Senior Town Planner to join their expanding team in London. Known for delivering tailored planning solutions across the UK, this is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of high-profile developments, including residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use schemes.
This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that combines national reach with local expertise, supporting clients ranging from landowners and developers to public sector bodies and private individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
·Manage a diverse caseload of planning projects from inception to completion
·Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and development appraisals
·Provide strategic planning advice to clients, helping them navigate complex planning systems
·Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and other consultants
·Contribute to business development by maintaining and building client relationships
·Mentor junior staff and contribute to team knowledge-sharing and development
About You:
·MRTPI qualified, with a strong academic background in planning or a related discipline
·Proven experience in a planning consultancy, local authority, or development environment
·Strong understanding of the UK planning system and relevant legislation
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·A proactive and client-focused approach with strong project management skills
