SENIOR/PRINCIPAL INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNER
Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in Hampshire in their search for an Infrastructure Planner to join their Infrastructure, Design and Sustainability Team on an 2-3 year contract.
My Client are seeking support to help prepare their Infrastructure Delivery Plan as they update the Local Plan to 2038. The length of contract is a period of 2 or 3 years and the successful candidate will assist through the plan making process, be pro-active with service providers, undertake a strategic viability assessment and prepare the annual Infrastructure Funding Statement.
 
Ideally, the successful candidate would have somewhere in the region of 5 - 8 years' experience within the field of Infrastructure Planning and be capable of operating at a principal level.
 
You will be required to have ample knowledge and familiarity of CIL and Section 106, but also the ability to work positively with infrastructure providers to ensure a proactive approach to the delivery of supporting services alongside new homes whilst undertaking a plan review.
 
It would be beneficial to hold a RTPI accredited Planning Degree or equivalent Planning qualification and/or have considerable experience in a similar position; and also hold a licentiate membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (or equivalent).
