Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Sheffield
Duration: Minimum until September 2022
Pay: £400-£470 per day inside IR35
 
My client, leading build and design contractor in the water sector are looking for an experienced senior QS to join them on their scheme in Sheffield.
 
Candidates will need to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week however the client are happy for the rest of the 5 day week to be remote.
 
Candidate's with water sector experience would be a preference, ideally within Yorkshire Water.
 
Key deliverables:
 
Develop and Maintain sustainable business relationships with client and Subcontractors. Support the Project Commercially to undertake procurement activities Contract/Subcontract administration, including (valuations), final accounts, increase value, reduce cost, change management, Commercial risk, and cash management.
 
Workload targets and deadline for reporting, and maintaining delivery against these. Presentation of Commercial reports in the format to support internally and externally,
 
Assist on providing legal and contractual advice, identification and reduction of commercial risks, supporting commercial resources as appropriate.
 
Degree Qualified preferable
