Job Role - Senior Project Manager
 
Contact Length - 12-18 Months
 
Location - The sites are located across the country however a willingness to stay away is essential

I have an exciting opportunity within the Nuclear Generation business that is specialising in taking on the most significant engineering projects in the nuclear sector.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
 
·Lead the delivery of Technical Projects and technical works
·Managing the client projects team while embedded in their major programmes
·Lead multi-disciplinary technical teams and suppliers engaged in a range of activities.
·Have accountability for the complete project life-cycle
·Develop project proposals and business cases through project execution and project completion to the subsequent identification and growth of future business opportunities.
·Work closely with clients, consulting with them to develop a full understanding of their project requirements and maintain communication to ensure delivery against expectations
·Ability to proactively manage all aspects of project delivery, including forecasting, control, change management, risk management, procuring goods and services, contract management and re-porting on project progress.
 
Required/Desired Skills and Qualifications:
 
·Chartered Engineer
·Hold professional and recognised project or programme management qualifications
·Experience of leading and directing large multi-disciplinary teams and resources.
·Experience in procuring goods and services, and manage the suppliers' contracts
·Security Clearance (active)
·WILLINGNESS TO STYA AWAY/TRAVEL FOR WORK
·Nuclear industry experience (desired)
·Highly regulated/hazardous industry experience (desirable)
