Senior Highway Engineer
 
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Highway Engineer to join an established private sector consultancy in London. As the successful Senior Highways Engineer you will be working on a range of schemes within the industry, in a team of Engineering professionals enabling you to advance your career and develop your skill set.
 
This role offers remote working with some travel required to the office a few times a month.
 
 
The ideal candidate
 
·Accredited degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
·Ideally a minimum of 5 years relevant experience and ability to multi-task
·Experience and in depth understanding of highway and engineering design, technical design standards ( eg DMRB, MCHW, TYSRGD) and best practice
·Knowledge of engineering design, related legislation, contract procurement and contract administration
·Good experience of health and safety, CDM and risk management
·Good project management skills and financial management
·NEC3/NEC4 experience
