Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in Wiltshire in their search for a Town Planning Officer to join on an minimum 12-month contract.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Development Management Team in the role of Senior Planner. You will be tasked with working on a range of applications from complex group applications to retail and commercial applications.  
Having previous experience of dealing with this range of applications is vital. The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running and do the majority of the work from home to start. Once everything goes back to "normal" office presence will be required.

Carrington West Pay Rate - up to £40p/h

It would be beneficial, although not mandatory, to hold a RTPI accredited Planning Degree or equivalent Planning qualification and/or have considerable experience in a similar position; and also hold a licentiate membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (or equivalent).
