Senior Bridge Engineer
 
Carrington West are currently recruiting for a Senior Bridge Engineer based in Essex, to join our client on a long term contract.
 
Key responsibilities of the Bridge Engineer are:
·Detailed design and improvement of various sized schemes - with support from more senior members.
·Detailed Highway structural analysis
·Preparation of reports, drawings, specifications and Contract Documents, including
·Compliance with Highways England performance requirements.
·Liaison with the local authority, Highways England and other stakeholders.
·Compliance with QSE requirements including CDM.
 
Additionally, you may need to carry out:
·Management and supervision of more junior Structures Design Team Members.
·Structural inspections, assessments and checks.
·Structures studies and scheme identification work.
·Value management and engineering including early contractor involvement and liaison with Project Managers and construction teams.
