Section Engineer required for highways improvement project in the South of the UK for major highways contractor.
 
This will be working on site, delivering the works as the lead Section Engineer for our clients for a minimum of 6 months.
 
You will be tasked with:
 
·Site cost/Value control
·Sort term programming
·Organising & procurement of plant & materials
·Responsible for correspondence and record keeping in accordance with client procedures
·Producing/reviewing method statements and risk assessments
·Site supervision
·Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
·Supervising labour
·Carry out setting-out cover for Site Engineer
 
Required:
 
·Highway Passport & Safety Critical Medical
·CSCS Card
·Fully conversant with CDM regulations
·Project experience within a safety critical highways/civils environment
·Fully conversant with safety regulations (particulary CDM)
·Understanding and knowledge of project management and NEC forms of contract
·Full driving License
·IT literate
