Are you a Client side Quantity Surveyor at least 2 years into your APC looking to join a large Uk organisation that will support you to further develop your career?
 
If so this opportunity could be for you.
 
Cost & Project Management consultancy in need of QS to support them in servicing the needs of their clients across both the public and private sector. This role will see you embedded in to the clients working at their offices in a hybrid role bound to give the exposure required for finishing the APC and getting chartered in no time.
 
What you'll be doing if you are successful in securing this opportunity:
 
- Preparing and presenting order of cost estimates
- Advising on procurement strategies
- Preparation of tender documents (based on schedule of works, bills of quantities and employer's requirements) and managing the tender process
- Input into value engineering
- Preparation of tender reports
- Compilation of contract documents
- Assessment and agreement of interim valuations
- Making cost checks and preparation of financial reports
- Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes
- Negotiation and agreement of final accounts
- Cost-in-use studies
 
 
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 2 years RICS APC experience
- Sound cost management experience in professional practice
- Excellent analytical skills and proficient in interrogating numerical and financial data
- Sound presentation, verbal, written and communication skills
- Personable and able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, in order to deliver a quality service and also maximise opportunities for repeat business
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
