We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our client on a freelance basis, working on a highways project in Shropshire.

This contract is due to start as soon as possible and goes through until March 2021, outside IR35.

As the successful applicant you will have previous experience in this role on highway schemes or motorway networks for principal contractors.
Duties will include overseeing cost forecasting, change management and associated risks, contract management and negotiation.

Experience and Qualifications:

·HNC, HND or Degree educated in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline)
·Previous highways experience, ideally with Highways England projects
·Have good working knowledge and experience with the NEC form of contract, and measuring work in accordance with the Method of Measurement for Roads and Bridges
·Experience of Design and Build contracts
