Residential Quantity Surveyor - Hampshire

Carrington West are working with an established Residential Builder who since lockdown have won some major projects meaning an increasing workload, therefore are seeking an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor looking to progress their career within the residential sector.
You will be reporting back to the Senior Surveyor and Commercial Manager for an exciting new project in Hampshire
 
Duties include (but not limited to)
·Forecasting the cost of the materials needed for site
·Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills, and other documents
·Tracking changes to the design
·Measuring and valuing the work done on site
·liaising with contractors daily to check all information given is correct and processing the invoices
Candidate Requirements
·Residential construction-based background is preferable but not essential
·Knowledge of Residential Housing Market
·Experience dealing with contractors
·Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams
·HNC/NVQ3 in construction or significant experience
