Job Role - Project Manager

Location - Derby (Hybrid)

Contract Length - 12 Months

Pay Rate - Negotiable
 
My client is looking to speak with candidates that have experience in the nuclear industry at project manager level. This role will also require the candidate to be competent and qualified with a mechanical bias background.


Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with our clients to capture project requirements.
  • Working with the clients teams to develop plans, bids and solutions to meet those needs.
  • Proactively managing all aspects of projects delivery, including forecasting, control, change management, risk management and reporting on project progress.
  • Instilling client confidence in project delivery through your professionalism and care.
  • Working to secure and develop the resources required to deliver tasks
  • Initiating and managing projects in line with internal Business Management System processes.
  • You will support the development, implementation and sharing of best practice for project management.
  • You will also support our operational management through project financial planning & reporting, resourcing and management of cash flow within projects.


Qualifications:

  • Chartered, or in the advanced stages of working towards this.
  • An engineering background.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent.
  • Hold a professional project or programme management related qualification.
  • Nuclear sector experience including mechanical design and analysis.
  • Delivery of complex technical consultancy projects and services
  • Although the team is based in Derby, the wider Nuclear and Power business has opportunities at locations around the country, internationally and at various client sites. Flexibility on work location and a willingness to undertake secondments to other sites is beneficial.
