Role: Project Engineer - Civil / Water Networks
Location: Oxford - Office/site based with some homeworking
Duration: 6 Months +
Rate: £400 - £500 per day - Umbrella
IR35 Status: Inside
Start Date: ASAP
 
My client is looking for a Project Engineer with experience working within the water industry. You will be working on AMP7 Thames Water projects.
 
The successful candidate must have a proven track-record of practical design experience with network hydraulic and civil engineering in all stages of project life-cycle to the commissioning.  
 
The candidate will be expected to attend the office 2-3 times per week
 
Skills and Experience:
·Bachelor's degree with a civil engineering bias; Chartered Member of a recognised engineering institution.
·A strong technical water sector knowledge of relevant UK codes and standards relating to pipelines and the wider water industry.
·Highly motivated, organised and with a strong desire to lead and contribute to technical excellence.
·Experience of working with contractors to deliver the successful implementation of engineering solutions.
·Experience in delivering sustainable solutions with an emphasis on carbon reduction
·Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
·Collaborative leader within a multidisciplinary team including the client, contractor, and colleagues.
·Good understanding of digital initiatives and their application in the water industry.
·Flexibility and adaptability with work locations to meet client's needs.
