My client is a leading communications company who is looking for a Procurement Specialist (Sourcing Lead) for an immediate start.
 
The role is based primarily in North Lincolnshire with some occasional travel required.
 
Salary: Up to £45,000 PAYE dependent on experience.
 
Job Role:
·Responsible for the effective management and control of the expenditure for services and materials.
·sourcing quotations and tenders to support the Business Development team
·Responsible for sourcing, negotiation and procurement.
·Monitor procurement across the business to assist in delivering savings, efficiency, value for money and hitting targets.  
·Responsible for a comprehensive range of bought out requirements associated to production, proposals and bids.
·Management of Supplier contracts and framework agreements.
·Produce material forecasts for both short and long term.
·Sourcing of materials and services for planned and unplanned requirements in line with the Procurement Plan
·Manage Suppliers to continually develop, review and implement cost saving
 
 
Requirements:
·Minimum of 5 years' experience in a procurement environment preferably in the Rail industry.
·Experience in telecommunications
·Working knowledge of Engineer, Procure, Construct based project
·Experience in coaching and mentoring - Desirable
