Role: Process Operators - Waste Water
Location: Manchester area
Rate up to: £375 per shift  + £50 for Monday to Friday call outs and + £100 for Saturday and Sunday cover shifts.
IR35 Status: Ltd or Umbrella

Our client are commissioning a Several sites in and around United Utilities area and are looking for an experienced process operator to assist monitor and run the site whilst the commissioning takes place.

You will need to have a good Process background and a very good understanding of how to run a water plant ideally with United Utilities experience.  You will need a thorough understanding of how SCADA systems work and how the plant runs.

Accountabilities:

• Reporting to the process commissioning engineer for daily operational tasks
• Self-assess and undertake operational activities on a variety of Wastewater Treatment Processes.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental Regulations and key business performance targets.
• Maintaining a site Diary log relating to any process variables.

Responsible for:

• Responsible for required operational and maintenance activities on site including record taking.
• An understanding of the environmental output standards and procedures
• Computer skills giving you the ability to carry out reporting and other information recording activities across a variety of platforms
• You will be required to work towards an accredited qualification or standard that is relevant to your role in addition to a number of other health and safety, technical and behavioural training courses
• Wastewater experience would be an advantage.
• Basic Maintenance Tasks such as oil checks, greasing etc. including record keeping.
