Job Role - Process Design Engineer

Location - Sellafield

Contract Length - 12 Months

Pay Rates - £45 hour Umbrella

Key Deliverables:

• Handle a range of process engineering design work to support the operating units (OU) across the Sellafield site.
• Review task initiation documents, attendance of walkdowns, scoping and planning meetings.
• Development of optioneering documents/concept design
• Production of basis of designs, Calculations, proposals EFDs and datasheets,
• Participation in SDDR's, MDDR's, HAZOP's etc
• Engagement with design substantiation in the form of NFR's, and DAR's support SSC's identified with new or modified safety cases, and to support substantiation through MSC
• Support o=installation, commissioning and close out of tasks, through engagement with plant, EFDs updates etc

Relevant Skills/Qualifications:

• Degree in chemical engineering
• Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience
• Previous experience in the nuclear industry or other regulated industries
• Ability to wok autonomously
• Chartered chemical engineering status is advantageous
• BPSS clearance advantageous (or ability to obtain)
