Role: Process Commissioning Engineer (Wastewater)
Location: Yeovil/potential for hybrid working
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 p/a + company vehicle or car allowance
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
 
Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you have wastewater experience in a process commissioning or a science-based role? If so, I have a great opportunity for you in my client's Commissioning team, where your experience and knowledge will add a wealth of value to their wastewater capital projects.
 
Working alongside other M&E and Process Commissioning Engineers, you will be covering both clean and wastewater projects throughout the South West region.
 
For the remainder of AMP7, the schemes that you will be working on involve Phosphorus removal, tertiary solids removal, capital maintenance and the construction of new process stages, as well as a number of larger non-P-removal schemes to deliver.
 
 
Your role will involve:
·Assisting the commissioning team with managing the commission of capital projects from west testing and software testing through to takeover on clean and wastewater sites.
·Providing technical input to project design.
·Providing technical input to project design.
·Assisting project teams with technical queries.
·Attending design review meetings and HAZOPs.
·Providing Process Risk Assessments for construction activities.
·Undertaking software FATs and SATs.
·Bringing new process units online.
·Providing process optimisation and process/mechanical reliability testing.
·40 Hour working week, Monday-Friday.
Required Skills:
·Experience implementing a wide range of wastewater processes, mainly within a European or the UK water industry, while also having an understanding of the theory behind their operation
·Qualified to degree level as a minimum, preferably within a relevant scientific or engineering field.
·Good facilitation skills, be detail orientated and be an active listener.
·As well as being self-sufficient, you'll need to have good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
