My client is looking to source an experienced Planning Policy Specialist on an initial 6-month contract.
 
This role is to be a senior member of the Planning Policy Team, assisting in undertaking the Council's responsibilities for the development plan and other strategic planning matters in accordance with the Planning Acts and related legislation and guidance; and providing such other outputs as required for the attainment of the Council's strategic planning objectives, including research, production and delivery of local policies.
 
It is intended that you will be operating a senior level with regard to 1. the Local Plan Review, Town Centre Strategy (recently commenced), and two Development Plan Documents (both recently commenced).
