Are you a Senior Surveyor experienced in working in asset management across a range of property types?
If so, this Local Authority Contract could be just for you.
 
Who will you be joining?  
Regeneration & Environment Team looking for a Senior Estate Surveyor to come in who has a strong Asset background.
 
What will you do?
Providing specialist property advice for and on behalf of the Council in the timely delivery of a caseload of asset management activities. Providing support to less experienced and unqualified Surveyors.
Core responsibilities and duties will include:
·Asset review, acquisition, and disposal activities for all purposes.
·Valuation of all types of Council owned property for annual asset valuation in accordance with prevailing CIPFA & RICS practice standards and general valuation advice for all purposes.
·Any asset related matters arising from the delivery of the Councils major projects programme and Urban Centre Masterplan.
·All estate management related issues arising from both the operational and non-operational property portfolios as set out in the Landlord and Tenant Acts and in the delivery of community led services through the Councils Community Lease process
·Providing support and advice to St Leger Homes Doncaster on all Asset related matters
·All asset related activities supporting the delivery of the Councils Asset Management Strategy and associated plans.
·Supporting the technical and professional development of less experienced and unqualified Surveyors.
 
What do you need?  
·RICS accredited degree and evidence of continuing professional development.
·Experience working in asset management across a range of property types and for different purposes within a complex customer focussed environment.
·Experience of working corporately, across boundaries and with external partners
·Ability to clearly write and present evidence and reports on complex matters.
