Job title: Plant Operator
Engagement: Permanent
Pay rate: £30-35,000 per annum
Location: Burton Latimer
Working Hours: Monday - Friday  (9am - 5pm)

The role
 
As a plant operator you will be responsible for a variety of activities. Ensuring the correct procedures are in place and compliance standards are being met.
 
You will be working with a large team meaning it will be your responsibility to ensure health and safety standards are met, for yourself, the public and all colleagues.
 
Key responsibilities will also include being in control of sludge process plants and advanced wastewater treatment. This will include noticing faults and maintaining the advanced sewage/sludge treatment plant.
 
What are the requirements?
 
The ideal candidate will be self-autonomous, able to carry out work un-supervised in an industrial/process plant. Understanding health and safety regulations is crucial including carrying out risk assessments with knowledge in electrical/mechanical works being desirable to help carry out these risk assessments.
 
Experience within a wastewater sector processing plant is essential, with knowledge on effluent analysis/testing/sampling, membrane experience, DAF plant experience, activated sludge experience and SCADA knowledge being advantageous to your application but not essential.
 
Working here you will be entitled to flexible working hours, which includes weekends. Furthermore, we are looking for someone that is comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
 
A full UKS manual driving license will also be required for this role.
