Design Manager - Role Planning and Emergency Works - Water Projects
Rate: £40 - £50 per hour - Inside IR35
Location: Kent
Duration: 12 Months
Start Date: ASAP
 
My client is looking for a Design Manager - Planning and Emergency Works for a client based in the South East working on water projects.
 
Responsibilities include:
·Management and resolution of emergency and planned infrastructure works for key client.
·Technical management of small specialist team.
·Consultation with Asset management and Construction stakeholders (internal client and external)
·Technical Assurance incl. design review and checking etc.
·Mixture of planned and emergency works
·Leading client Governance process
·Assisting procurement and commercial discussions
 
Skills and experience:
·Infrastructure (sewer and potable system) detailed design and construction
·Interfacing and construction in complex environments - railway (CEM and CRE role) and environmentally sensitive areas
·Tunnelling, open cut, lining (ambient, hot and UV) and innovation in trenchless design and construction
·Principal Designer duties.
 
They are looking for someone to start immediately and have said that the role with be inside IR35.
