Job description

Are you a microstation technician with experience on 3D utilities models?
 
Have you worked on large rail infrastructure projects?
 
Location: Birmingham (hybrid working available)
Contract length: Ongoing
Rate: £35 hour outside IR35
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to support one of the main contractors on HS2. This will be based on site in Birmingham but hybrid working can be done through prior arrangement. This role is outside IR35 so can be paid into LTD company
 
Job Role:
 
·Establish and Maintain a 3D CAD Utilities Model in compliance with relevant specifications to support the Avoidance of Danger of Underground and Overhead Services Safe System of Work.
·Collect and process site information, including trial holes, as built records, Ground Penetrating Radar & CAT & Genny surveys;
·Model new diversions planned
·Change status of assets - from existing to abandoned and abandoned to removed
 
Requirements:
·Relevant Experience in 3D models using Bentley Microstation
·Previously worked on rail infrastructure project
·Ideally previous utilities experience - including any knowledge on  PAS128 (Underground Utility Detection, Verification and Location), PAS256 (Buried assets. Capturing, recording, maintaining and sharing of location information and data. Code of practice) specifications and HSG47 (Avoiding Danger from Underground Services)
