Role: Mechanical Project Engineer - Water Industry
Duration: 6 months +
Rate: £200 a day - Limited company
Outside IR35
Location: Surrey/Kent
 
Our client are a very well established sub-contractor to the water sector.  Due to a huge increase in workload they are looking for an Mechanical Project Engineer to help them deliver the projects that they are working on within the Southern Water framework.
 
The position will involve:
 
·Interpretation of designs
·Liaison with design engineers and consultants
·Preparation of reports
·Assisting the project manager
·Managing sub-contractors and consultants
 
The successful candidate will have at least an HNC in mechanical engineering, experience in the water industry would be a plus but not essential.
 
The role is initially for 6 months but it is very likely that longer term work will be available.
