Mechanical Fitter / Engineer - Water treatment equipment
Location: West Bromwich
Hours: 40 hours a week + Overtime available
Salary: £26,000 - £40,000 per year + overtime (Van and package)
Employment: Full time permanent
My client, specialises in provided MEP - Mechanical, electrical and process engineering service to the water treatment sector and are looking for a workshop based mechanical fitter / mechanical engineer to work from their West Bromwich base of operations.
In this role you will working as part of an established team where you will be performing machine maintenance , refurbishment and upgrades to water treatment equipment in the workshop. From time to time you will also visit sites to perform installation, decommissioning and on site repairs / services.
This role is suitable for qualified mechanical engineers who MUST have "water treatment" based equipment experience from either an industrial or municipal water setting.
You must have experience of at least one of these types of machinery:
- Decanter centrifuges
- Separators
- Filter Presses
- Belt presses
- Rotating machinery
Skills & Qualifications:
·Qualified mechanical fitter or apprentice trained background - Essential
·Drivers License - Essential
·Electrical qualifications - Non essential but advantageous
This role is available on a full time permanent basis which offers the opportunity to join an expanding forward thinking company with multiple sites across the UK.
The salary depending on experience can range from £26,000 - £40,000 + overtime + van + package
