Are you a M&E or Comms CRE with looking for an opportunity to be involved in HS2?

Do you have proven experience working railway station projects including AFAs and station refurbishments?

Our client is a major contractor across the railway industry, with a fantastic work bank across the UK. Due to growth, they require a knowledgeable CRE to join their team on HS2 and assist with the delivery of station projects, including AFA and refurbishments.

This role gives the individual the flexibility to be based in either Birmingham or London

Location: Birmingham or London
Duration: 4 months
Rate: £450 - £500 p/d
IR35: Inside

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with designer's to ensure designs are efficient and safe to build
• Liaisie with the client to progressively assure designs, including participation in IDC/IDRs
• Review submissions for quality, sufficiency and adherence to relevant standards.
• Approval of detailed construction methodologies produced by the project teams e.g. WPP / TBS / RA's
• Approval of inspection and test plans produced by the project teams
• Assist team members CEM / QS / PM as required with engineering input
• Attend site as required to liaise with Site Managers and Engineers
• Excellent interpersonal skills and assertive when required to ensure timeous delivery
• Ensure Quality benchmarks are maintained at a high standard

The ideal Civils CRE:

• Strong experience working on railway station projects, including AFAs and multi-disciplinary station refurbishments.
• Previous CRE approved or experience at similar level in another sector
• Experience managing design development
