An exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join our clients growing team and business based in Hertfordshire.
 
As the successful Junior Buyer you'll be working alongside the Procurement team helping to deliver a range of surfacing and highways works across the region.
 
You will be tasked with supporting the management team with tendering, market analysis, supplier selection, risk and opportunity assessments, forecasting requirements.
 
Other duties include:
 
·Facilitating an efficient and compliant process for all material and plant procurement
·Support the development of procurement plans and packaging strategies
·Assist in the development of efficient value-added reports
·Focus on exceeding minimum service expectations by delivering an agile, value adding service with a deep understanding of customer requirements, technical competence, functional knowledge and process efficiency
 
In return we are seeking a driven, proactive individual with some commercial experience.
